Sandook (Cabinet)

When the family moved from their vernacular house to a newly constructed one, they had left behind most old things. They chose to keep the sandook as a memory of their mother who was the original owner of it. It no longer contained her belongings but, among other things, was used to store precious trophies won by the present owner’s young son at school.
