The Sandy Cameron Shield is an inter-club championship still played today. Alexander 'Sandy' Cameron was an outstanding golf administrator in country New South Wales from the 1920s to the 1950s. By 1948, he had been awarded life membership of every golf club in the Western District Golf Association in recognition of his contribution to the game.

The Sandy Cameron Shield is still played for today.
