This skull fragment consists of an upper jaw and face bone. It was discovered by Suherman and Toto Marsono on the edge of Bapang irrigation channel, Krikilan, in 1978. Based on its morphology and the earth layer it occupied, such specimen is considered as an Archaic Homo Erectus from1.5 million years ago.
