Sanno Shinto Shrine is located in a quiet neighborhood, and the giant camphor trees at the shrine are estimated 400 to 500 years old. The height is over 20 meters. The tree on the right has a diameter of 8 meters for the right tree and 6 meters for the other one in diameter. Due to the atomic bombing, all leaves and branches were blown off and burned trunk was broken off. However, the tree could survive the bombing.
