Sanno Shinto Shrine

One of two big camphor trees of the Shrine. The branches and leaves of trees blew away by bomb blast and intense heat rays, and the trunk broke from the middle and became charred. But the sprout has already begun to appear. Two chimneys which are visible to the central left are the things of Nagasaki Medical College Hospital (the present Nagasaki University Medical Department Hospital), and one of them has bent by the blast.
