SapienStone was the first brand to specialise in the design and production of full-body porcelain kitchen countertops with veinings that give to the surfaces a more realistic look: a look that is unmatched in any other product.
The brand was specifically created for non-traditional sales channels and markets, like kitchen stores and furniture producers, and is a completely new material for the Group and the ceramic sector.
The material is specially configured for the particular needs of its target market in 328x154 cm slabs that are 12 mm and 20 mm thick, there is also avant-garde high-tech innovation, like the possibility of fitting an induction cooking area.
The company identified an opportunity to use the material as a kitchen countertop and analysed the dynamics and particular features of that market. It decided that in order to approach it, it needed to offer a material configured in a specific, targeted way.
SapienStone is an open door to a new reality, that speaks directly to the consumer and dialogues with different business models like the world of kitchen furniture.
To fit its positioning, the new brand has a new language that is simple and understandable and is presented with subjects and images focused on the end user.
Attention is paid to design and aesthetics, but above all to highlighting and recounting the notable practical advantages of using this material every day, presenting it as an intelligent alternative to materials traditionally used in kitchen countertops. Innovation, sustainability and quality of life are its key values.
