Lynda says: "All I do is apply paint to paper. How can that sit in the same frame as being a frontline medic? It doesn’t compare. However, I know that my sitter who’s a consultant and his wife, who’s also a GP, were both thrilled with my painting. A small token of my appreciation for all they do in good times and bad."
Dr Paul Glynn says: "I am a physician working in emergency care during the pandemic, at University College Hospital. I don’t consider myself a hero nor do I like being described in this way. I do however consider it to be a privilege to work on the front line at a great hospital. I was delighted to receive my portrait which portrays me as being appropriately rugged and colourful! It was a lovely surprise and much appreciated."
