A label of Saraswati derived from the popular Ravi Varma depiction of the same. Unlike the Ravi Varma painting, Saraswati is seated sidesaddle on her peacock instead of on a rock, while the peacock's feathers are open around her. She holds articles associated with knowledge and learning- a chain, palm leaf manuscripts, and a veena. Lotuses bloom in the pond behind her.
