The Lion Sarcophagus

A strigillated sarcophagus from the Early Christian Necropolis of Tarragona.
Made of marble, at each end it is decorated with a relief of a lion attacking a small gazelle. In the middle there is a bust of the deceased dressed in a tunic and a toga.
