The sarung tenun bergerus (calendered) fabric was produced in 1989 and finely calendered by Allahyarham Sheikh Omar bin Ibrahim, the famous gerus Master Craftsman who often calendered the fabric of Pahang royalty members and dignitaries.

This calendered fabric of silk thread is adorned with gold weave and striped patterns with biji peria and rantaian kerongsang motifs. It was worn by nobles and palace officials during the palace's formal occasions, weddings or paying last respects.

Apart from sarung fabric, sampin or kelubung fabric, the calendered fabric is used as handkerchief and tengkolok (a headgear for men). Tengkolok made from a calendered fabric is easy to shape and looks dashing.
