Sassi (Rocks)

"Sassi" is an iconic work that evokes walks along the Sangone, a river in Turin, where the real pebbles have inspired an ideal riverbed. Certain images of nature required the carpets to be large and possibly lay flat; in this way, people could "live them," immersing themselves in their reality.
