Sawyers belongs to the cycle dedicated tj the eponymous sawyers' work. Teaching as a professor of the Kyiv Institute of Plastic Arts, Bohomazov developed his own art theory. In his work Painting and Elements he explains the artistic value of the independence of elements, such as the designated characteristics of the embodiment of the artist’s emotions and pensive thoughts. Sawyers were restored in NAMU for the exhibition Oleksandr Bohomazov: Creative Laboratory (2019)
