Scarab with an Archer (Main View, front)

On the intaglio of this Etruscan scarab, a naked archer kneels with one knee raised, drawing back his bow to shoot an arrow. He may be a nameless hunter stalking his prey or a solitary warrior. The scarab is set in a gold hoop ring, with lion heads forming the ends of the hoop.
