Scarecrow

Composition in ochre, earthy, gray, yellow, blue, white and green. Smooth texture and brush strokes marked on the field. Armed scarecrow in field planted, cuttings and two seated figures. On the left, armed scarecrow on top of a thin stake. Head and body are one volume in black and shaded areas in green, arms and legs fluttering, revealing the ends of the beams. To the left of center to on the right, slightly diagonally from front to back, five cuttings side by side. In the center, between the first two stakes, seated figure from the front, wearing a blue dress and between the two stakes that follow, little deeper, another figure in the same position as the first, wearing green dress. On the ground, planting wheat or rice, looking up area in earthy tone at the base of the composition. Basically, gray sky brightening toward the horizon.
