Composition in light shades of gray and blue predominate, and in tones earthy, ochre, green, red, black and white. Smooth, thick texture in small areas of the scarecrow and marked brushstrokes. Composition representing scarecrow on the left of center composition, amid the arid lanscape of open countryside, with small increases in the horizon and blue sky. The scarecrow is mounted on beams that resemble tree trunks, has wide-brimmed hat over the head, arms in a diagonal from the left to the right, front to back, where two birds earthy. The scarecrow's rags of clothing to dress in gray tones, green, white, ochre and reddish, open in the center, leaving see the beam that is mounted to the height that corresponds to his torso. The ground is represented in shades of lighter gray near the horizon, where appear a small rise the on the left and the other three to the right. On the left, close to the scarecrow, six small birds earthy on the ground; on the right scarecrow shadow in shades earthy designed for the floor from the on the left light. Blue sky, brighter on the horizon darkening toward the top edge of the composition, which appear bright spots representing clouds and seven birds flying group diagonally from the right to on the left, backward toward the Scarecrow.
