Scarlet Macaw

This beautiful, but very noisy bird is a known pet. The scarlet macaw
lives in the rainforests in Central and South America and makes its nest in
hollow trees.

Did you know that a scarlet macaw blushes when it's turned-on? When the scarlet macaw finds a partner, they stay together for their whole lives. The two lovers become real love birds: they lick each others faces and make each others feathers clean. They're never separated, except in breeding season. Then the female incubates the eggs and the male searches for food.
