This is a Sturt Cricket Club (SCC) membership badge from 1936-37. It is in the well known 'double blues' in an art deco style design. The membership number 286 is on the reverse of the badge.
The Sturt Cricket Club formed in 1897 and is still active today. The club is an example of the community based cricket clubs that grew and joined the South Australian Cricket Association.
