The costume for a champion shot is used by the private shooting association St. Hubertus Schützenbruderschaft 1882 e. V. It is most of all distinguished by a green and white sash and also green and white marksman’s cock- ade with the inscription “Shooting Fraternity Delecke, Drüggelte, Westrich”. It used to belong to Heinz Näckel, whose son donated it to the museum. Shooting associa- tions have a particularly long history in Germany and originally served to protect the community, but were also engaged in charity work.
