A photograph of the Scotland team that beat Wales 5-1 at Acton Park in Wrexham in 1881. This was one of three Scotland matches featuring the world’s first black international footballer, Andrew Watson, his first being the record 6-1 win over England in London and his final game a 5-1 victory over the English at Hampden in 1882. George ‘Geordie’ Ker scored a double in the win over Wales, Henry McNeil (the brother of Rangers founders Moses and Peter) also netted with the Welsh making it five with two own goals.
