The sculpture "Scruff of the Neck (UL 14/15/16)" by Nairy Baghramian, made of white marble and supported by polished metal armatures, plays with references to dentistry. Although it has an abstract and minimalist appearance, it does not fail to evoke certain resonances with the body, the teeth, the implants, and may even generate a sense of discomfort. The large size of the sculpture and the delicate balance in which its elements are found underline the poetics of fragility that usually characterizes the work of this artist.
