This sculptural ceramic jar represents a ceremonial enclosure guarded by two men with mutilated nose and lips. The precint is completely enclosed by walls, has a central entrance and two staggered elements on it. This type of structure is linked to human sacrifice, and resembles the Recinto I de la Plaza 3c of Huaca de la Luna (Moche Valley, region of La Libertad, northern coast of Peru). (UH)

Este cántaro escultórico de cerámica representa un recinto ceremonial resguardado por dos personajes con la nariz y labios mutilados. El recinto está completamente encerrado por paredes, tiene un ingreso central, techo a dos aguas y dos elementos escalonados sobre él. Este tipo de estructuras está vinculada a los sacrificios humanos, y se asemeja al Recinto I de la Plaza 3c de la Huaca de la Luna (valle de Moche, región de La Libertad, costa norte del Perú). (UH)
