A group of cyclists ride along the Sant Felíu de Guíxols Greenway with the sculpture of ‘El Feliuet’, in Llambilles, as a witness.
‘El Feliuet’ is the name by which the railway that linked Sant Feliu de Guíxols with Girona was affectionately known in the area. It was in operation from 1892 until the end of the 1960s. For decades, this carrilet was the preferred means of transport for the people of Girona to reach the beaches of Sant Feliu de Guíxols. Its route through the counties of Gironès and Baix Empordà allows visitors to discover uniquely beautiful Mediterranean landscapes.
