But, of all things, it is more difficult to deal with the pain of those who love me. I ask you not to be sad, because for now I'm here. My grandmother, who had stomach cancer, I think she died at diagnosis. I do not. I decided to live. I went for surgery, removed the ovaries, thinking it was going to be all right, and everything went wrong. In the middle of the procedures, when I noticed the nervousness in the room, I asked if someone could bring me a piece of watermelon. When everyone laughed, it did me good and I was fine. I see it as a trip, the good parts in the middle of the bad. How is life, by the way.
