Recife - PE, Brazil
40 years
Military police officer, nurse
Until I was 34 I never had anything. I went for an ultrasound, a lump appeared, I had a biopsy, I thought: let's have surgery and that's it. And then chemotherapy, radiotherapy. I had been married for three years, I spent a week crying. In 2016 he appeared again, I had another chemo, and now in July a third time. Metastasis. But death is certain for everyone, there are people with diabetes who are sicker than me. I live uncertainties well.
