"The first symptoms had appeared in 2012. At that time I was being monitored for diabetes, and I showed the breast to the doctor, she asked to investigate, but the nurses did not proceed with the mammogram request, believing it to be an error. Like most people, myself included, they didn't know that men can get breast cancer.
