Sculpture

Sculpture, bronze, from the south of India. It depicts the Hindu goddess Parvati (Devanagri: पार्वती, IAST: Pārvatī). Parvati is Shakti, the wife of Shiva and the gentle aspect of Mahadevi, the Great Goddess. Parvati is considered as complete incarnation of Adi Parashakti', with all other goddesses being her incarnations or manifestations.
