Description: The artist of this painting is clearly recognizable in the organization of the scene and in other elements typical of his repertoire, such as the figures in the foreground. This scene also has stylistic similarities with other works of Cioci, such as the two Views of the Livorno Port preserved in the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence, dated 1775, and therefore from the same period. In this painting, the artist shows his skill in assembling different figurative components, taken from Vernet to Zocchi, in a pleasant, light scene.
