Depicted on a blue, horizontally-hatched background in the middle of the escutcheon are scissors with blades aiming upwards. Between the blades, there is a lion standing on his hind legs and facing right according to heraldic tradition (on the imprint). Latin inscription in two concentric circles: “+ SIGILLUM * CONTUBER * SARTORUM * LEOPOLIEN” (Seal of Lviv Tailors Guild).
The item was brought to Lviv Historical Museum in 1940 from the former Lviv City Historical Museum, where it was sent from the City Archive.
