Engraver Franciszek Feliks Tabaczkowski (worked in Lviv in the late 19th— early 20th cc.)
The seal bears a knightly cross decorated with laurel and linden branches. The coat of arms of Lviv (a city gate with three towers; the lion in the gate, surrounded by three hills, stands upright holding a star in its front paws) is depicted on a cross on the escutcheon under the royal crown. Inscription in Polish: “PREZYDENT ● KRÓLEWSKIEGO STOŁECZNEGO ● MIASTA ● LWOWA” (President Of The Royal Capital City Of Lviv).
The item was brought to Lviv Historical Museum in 1940 from the former Lviv City Historical Museum, where it was sent from the City Archive.
