Engraver Franciszek Feliks Tabaczkowski (worked in Lviv in the late 19th— early 20th cc.)
The seal bears a knightly cross decorated with laurel and linden branches. The coat of arms of Lviv (a city gate with three towers; the lion in the gate, surrounded by three hills, stands upright holding a star in its front paws) is depicted on a cross on the escutcheon under the royal crown. Inscription in Polish: “PREZYDENT ● KRÓLEWSKIEGO STOŁECZNEGO ● MIASTA ● LWOWA”.
The item was brought to Lviv Historical Museum in 1940 from the former Lviv City Historical Museum, where it was sent from the City Archive.
