In 1975, Atari partnered with Sears, Roebuck and Co. to produce and distribute a home video game version of the smash arcade hit Pong. Marketed under both the Atari and Sears Tele-Games brands, the home console version of Atari's Pong was phenomenally successful. Pong sparked the home video game revolution and spawned numerous imitation consoles, produced by companies including Radio Shack, Coleco, and Unisonic.
