Upstairs is a large labyrinth of lattice with a symbolic courtyard at its center, where visitors find Savior’s figure in a "dungeon". Exhibition designer Anton Gorlanov proposed the motif of a lattice, behind which prisoners languish both in a real confinement and in a symbolic “dungeon”. The sculptures of Christ are literally “behind bars”.
