Paul had an inkling before visiting the occupants and owners of the building that there would be blessings in doing this wall. After his conversations with JP and John, who run the Joseph assignment on Shelley Road, Salt River, it became clear to Paul that he wanted to paint a wall which inspired people to look twice. Not only at the wall, but at their surrondings, and at each other. What you see on the surface is not necessarily what lies beneath. Paul hopes that his wall inspires second glances, second chances, as well as a sense of hope, compassion and light to the community and all who visit the centre.
