Tanoa. Bowl for yaqona (kava) in the shape of a vonu (turtle). Carved from kau (wood). Yava i rua (two legs) at the front side and yava i rua at the opposite end of bowl. The front two yava (legs) function as suspension cord bito (lug). A hole is drilled through the yava with multiple braids of possibly vau (hibiscus), each braid tali rua (two-ply). Brown in colour.
