And it is the night that lights up, over the roof of the Long Sleeve, the work of Joseph Kosuth Seeing Knowing (2004), specifically for the spaces of the Museum and designed in two parts in ideal dialogue with each other, the work is consisting of two illuminated panels, one installed outdoors, the other positioned inside, on the third floor of the Castle. In both panels you can read - in the external one in Italian, in the other in English - the following sentence deals from the writings of the philosopher Giovanbattista Vico (1668-1744): “Make true what you want to know; and I, in knowing the truth that you have proposed to me, I will do so that I have no doubts about it, because I myself have done it. "
