This poster is from a series by the artist Frederick Charles Herrick. The posters were commissioned by the Underground to promote leisure travel. Each one represents a sense through which London's top attractions can be appreciated. This poster promotes London's visual attractions. The man's binoculars have been constructed from two London Transport roundels. The golden band that sweeps above the lettering shows a montage of London's popular sights. These include the changing of the guards, St Paul's Cathedral, cricket and rugby, theatre, art galleries and the zoo.
