Selecion of latin-inscribed objects

The diffusion of the practice of writing and the use of Latin was one of the essential elements of the Romanization of the local populations and happened through a multiplicity of supports and in several levels of the society. The Monographic Museum of Conimbriga exhibits a variety of inscriptions, monumental or cursive and objects related to the practice of writing (stilettos, ink pots, etc.).
