Yida Silk Workshop Selecting Cocoon

Cocoon has many types, for example, single cocoon made by one silkworm and twin cocoon made by two silkworms. Single cocoon has only one silk thread and is used for reeling. Twin cocoon has two silk thread twisted together and used to make silk quilt. Before cocoon selection, the cocoons will be dried to prevent that moths bite cocoons; otherwise, they can’t be reeled. When the cocoon selection machine is in operation， the work staff can pick out the cocoon. Then the selected cocoons will be put into the peeling machine to take off frison.
