Heorhii Nabut was a noble man not only by birth but by his tastes. He lived in Kyiv since 1917. Narbut was an expert in Ukrainian Baroque art, Ukrainian history and Classical European art. All this components are combined in his works, mostly graphical. Narbut was the creator of the first bank-notes and postage stamps of Ukrainian People’s Republic. His work influenced the development of the whole Ukrainian art in the 20th century
