This art work was made as part of BALTIC's summer ARTLAB programme, young artists and their families were invited to participate in an image and sound making workshop with Bex Harvey. The theme of the workshop was Inside and outside space - thinking about who we are and how we identify inside, and how the world around us shapes us too.
This work is a sun print made by arranging carefully chosen objects that represent things about the artist on light-sensitive paper then using the sun to develop the image.
This piece was made at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art as part of Arts Council England's The Way I See It project which captures the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on the lives of children and young people, articulated in their own voices, through their own creativity.
