Semiaquilegia adoxoides(Ranunculaceae), the only member of Semiaquilegia genus,
is a Perennial growing to 30cm (1ft), distributed in mainland China, western Japan, and southern Korea. A very close cousin to regular Columbine (Aquilegia), differing in that the flowers lack the usual spurs at the back. Tiny white flowers are produced in April to May.
