In a woodland clearing, a river god crowned with laurel sits at lower right, his left arm over an urn, pouring water. At his right are an oar and a cornucopia. He points with his right hand to a monument surmounted by a bust of a man, which rests on a wreath. The monument is decorated with lyres and swags and bears the inscription: LA MORTE.CRUDEL/ NON.RAPISTI.UN/ MONACHO.SOL/ NEL.RAPIR.UN/ -BONAFEDE-/ LEVAST'I.A.MON/ UN.GENIO.CHE/ DE ILLUMINAR/ SEVIVA.
