Orda was a comprehensively talented artist. While staying in Paris, he studied piano (leaving behind a number of musical compositions, including polonaises, mazurkas, waltzes, and other works), drawing and painting. He maintained close contact with the Polish community of emigration intelligentsia. During this time, he also undertook several journeys, from which there remain views he created, collected in two sets: "Collection from a Journey Through the Pyrenees, Spain, and Portugal" and "Collection from a Journey Through France and the Rhineland."
