Inspired by social, impressionistic and intimate motifs, Tabaković painted in the spirit of refined coloristic artistry. The picture is created in a later period, but still in social themes. In perfect compositional harmony, the picture is dominated by two balls, one of which is the sun, and three hands in motion - as a cut-off moment of time, a moment in the game whose continuation can be sensed. Favorite games of that time represent a refined ambience. The reduced color is characteristic of the echoes of impressionism to which Tabaković favored during the 1950s. Quick strokes, cut and shifted shapes create a perfect rhythm with two carefully painted circles. Light emanates from every part of the painting, and the pointillist technique defines the artist's idea of joy in the game.
