Shakespeare

William Shakespeare (1564-1616) is considered the greatest figure in English literature, having written plays, sonnets and poems still performed and quoted often today. The Shakespeare Garden gave the City of Cleveland the idea for creating the Cultural Gardens. It later became the British Garden.
