Shango

Shango is the god of thunger among the Yoruba, and he has a metaphysical relationship with the Ibeji (carved effigy of children of multiple births). Shango priests are often identified with a neolific axe head baton (representing thunder bolts) reflecting his authority in the Shango cult.
