Sharivsky Palace is located in the town of Sharivka, Kharkiv region. This settlement was founded by osaul Matviy Shariy for people who had to migrate from the Right Bank of Ukraine at the beginning of the XVIII century. The most famous owner of the estate was the sugar magnate Leopold Koenig. Under his supervision, the palace complex became most prominent. Besides the castle, the Sharivsky Palace complex also included a greenhouse, a pheasants' cage and stables. In Soviet times, the palace served as a tuberculosis sanatorium, but today it welcomes tourists again and is being actively developed.
