Choze is a self taught painter based in Atlanta, Ga. He works mostly with oils and acrylics. Choze has been painting since 2015. In the same year, he was given an opportunity to become an art handler at Mason Fine Art, which gave him experience as a professional art hanger/curator. He became intrigued by the environment and all the artwork he was handling. Choze creates portraits on canvas of everyday people, close friends and celebrities with bold colorful backgrounds. His newest works feature renaissance style paintings inspired by the old masters, that cross-correlates urban and pop culture with the stories and techniques of the painters before the young artist. “I believe we were all put on this earth for a reason. I would like for people to feel and understand the confidence of being chosen by whatever it is that they chose to put their time and passion into” - Choze.
