The MUSA (Museum of the Arts of the University of Guadalajara) keeps in its collection a painting enriched with graphics, donated by the artist in 2015, entitled Ella huye del amor con cuchillo (She Runs From Love With a Knife), through which she expresses a violent love break-up. This oil on canvas has links with the tradition of votive offerings of a religious nature, both for being worked on metal, and for the narrative nature of an event that appears to be a testimony of an autobiographical nature. The affective and passionate weight marked by the jagged mouth, the bleeding heart and the knife, is accentuated by the written story that accompanies this work with a strong visual impact.
