Shewa Oromo Traditional Outfit and Dance

Oromo men dance as a band plays dressed in the Shewa Oromo cultural outfits that includes the sleeveless Shurraabii (sweater). The Shewa Oromo inhabit central parts of the Oromo highlands including areas around the capital, Finfinnee. The dance the men are engaged in is called Ragadaa and involves very fast and powerful movements of the chest and feet.
